in 1977, Glenbrook Hospital is a 100-bed facility offering a variety of
specialized services. Few hospitals of its size deliver such diverse
services as intensive coronary care, joint replacement, outpatient cancer
care, a Parkinson’s disease clinic, a plastic surgery unit, laparoscopic
cholecystectomy (for gallbladder removal) and a gastrointestinal lab.
