PHENYLPROPANOLAMINE Alert
All drugs containing PHENYLPROPANOLAMINE have recently been recalled. It is recommended that you stop taking anything containing phenylpropanolamine as it has been linked to increased hemorrhagic stroke (bleeding in the brain) among women ages 18-49 in the three days after starting use of the medication. Problems were not found in men however the FDA has recommended that everyone, including children, stop taking the drug. The following medications have been found to contain phenylpropanolamine:
